In 2005, Smithfield Foods announced a gift of $5 million, through the Foundation, to Christopher Newport University. Like the company and the Foundation, CNU started as a small Virginia operation with a vision of growth and expansion into a nationally-recognized institution. We are committed to helping the school achieve that goal.
The money will be used to create the Joseph W. Luter, III School for Business and to help fund the school’s President’s Leadership Program. To learn more about this exciting plan, read the announcement in the Smithfield Foods News.
